Finally Flying Squad Nab Syndicate Involved in Printing Fake Govt Documents Aiding Aliens Migration

 Cybercrime sleuths in Nairobi are investigation an incident where a syndicate involved in printing and producing fake government documents were busted following a tip-off from the public.

The syndicate that has been operating with Easleigh estate in Nairobi were nabbed yesterday. Six suspects who are under police custody were found in an apartment on 1st avenue, 3rd street.

During the raid, the police were able to confiscate national identification cards, refugee registration documents, academic certificates and other documents that were being processed illegally.

Detectives from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit in collaboration with Cybercrime sleuths stormed the office and recovered a bunch of fake documents that had been illegally processed.

Computers used in the processing process were also confiscated and are being stored awaiting forensic analysis.

Through investigations, the detectives were able to uncover that the syndicate was majorly used in aiding migrations of aliens into the country without the knowledge of the migration department.

 The suspects are currently being grilled by detectives at DCI headquarters, before being arraigned in court on Thursday.

Security experts in the country led by DCI’s have warned Kenyans against aiding Non-Kenyans into entering into the country illegally as this poses a very serious threat to the public safety and security of their fellow Kenyans.
