Panic has gripped Embu after two decomposing bodies were found dumped inside the famous river Tana.
According to sources, the two were stashed in Gunny Bags and later dumped inside the river.
The area police boss, George Mutiso said the two men were aged between 25 and 30 years.
It is yet to be established who killed the two before dumping their bodies in the river.
Cops have established that the young men had strangulation marks on their necks with some serious deep cuts on the neck.
The two bodies have been ferried to Embu level 5 hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and identification.
Kenyans who have lost loved ones have been urged to tour the facility to establish if they can identify the two young men.
This worrying incident comes at the backdrop of ongoing investigation into a similar incident where a taxi driver was brutally murdered and his naked body dumped in Murang'a several kilometers from his home in Kirinyaga.
