Just In: NPS Announce Powerful Man To Take Over IG Koome Position Here Is His Profile.

Recently, the National Police Service (NPS) announced additional modifications to the Police Command. His prior position, which had been temporarily empty, has now been filled thanks to Mr. Japheth Koome's appointment as the new Inspector General of Police.

According to a statement made by the NPS on Tuesday, Mr. Bruno Shioso OGW, the former police spokesperson, has been named the new Commandant of the National Police College at Kiganjo Main Campus. Given his prior accomplishments, Mr. Shioso is a knowledgeable police officer with a broad understanding of the NPS.

Prior to assuming the new position, Mr. Shioso made a significant contribution to the implementation of the NPS Communication Strategy designed to advance the Mission and Vision of the Service.

The multi-agency security operations and the campaigns on the security readiness for the 2022 General Election were among the multi-agency and multi-sectoral programs he was leading.

Mr. Bruno Shioso is said to have a profile and a Masters degree in Science under Criminology (Police Leadership and Management) from Leicester University in the United Kingdom. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has noted that the new police commandant has also worked in a number of DCI departments.
