It such a great relief for the family of Sharon Kigen as his body has finally arrived in the country. Sharon Kigen was an IT student who had gone to Sydney to pursue a masters degree. It's really sad that her education was cut short after she drowned and died just two months after her arrival to Australia. She was awaiting her classes and went out for swimming with friends. The swimming turned tragic and that's how she passed away.
It's been a heartbreaking moment for her family who were looking forward to the day their daughter will graduate with a Masters degree. A fundraiser was held and Kenyans are so gracious that they helped the family bring back the body home for burial.
Her body has today arrived at the Moi International Airport in Eldoret and it's a sad moment that the family is now dealing with a reality. Read more on this on Citizen TV on Facebook.
May she rest in perfect peace.
