The Inspector General of Police, Hillary Mutyambai has set up a special task force to combat the rising cases of muggings in Nairobi. The IG has done this in a bid to ensure the safety of the residents of Nairobi who have complained for a while now.
This will greatly boost the security in the capital which has seen an increase in cases of muggings. People lose their phones and wallets almost on a daily basis when you look at all the social media posts.
Robbery with violence cases have also gone a notch higher and given that protecting yourself against a thief with a gun is hard, this taskforce is a welcome addition. Police sometimes are overwhelmed by the number of robberies in the county of Nairobi.

The Inspector General, Hillary Mutyambai is doing an excellent job in ensuring that security remains at its topmost level in Nairobi. Let's pray that this taskforce all guarantee the much needed safety to the citizens.
