Dramatic scene was witnessed from a little known Narumoro village, Kieni constituency, Nyeri county in the former Central province when a woman,25, was beaten to near death and devorced by lover for allegedly getting a police identification card bearing her photograph in her jacket yet she in not a member of disciplined force.
According to a local or rather resident, the two lovers have been living together in a house rented by the lady. "The woman is living a luxurious life and driving big machine and nobody knows what she does for a living." She stated.
Speaking to a local media station, the gentleman revealed that her sweetheart have been lying to her that she is a businesswoman.
Conferming the incident, the area subchief urged young people to first take time in knowing one another before getting in to long life commitment.
