There were alot of dramatic scenes as suspected pickpocket is caught in the act at DP Ruto at Karatina rally.
The latest development comes barely hours after Deputy President William Ruto kick started his three-day visit in Nyeri County today, just seven days after his rival former Prime minister Raila Odinga toured the region.
The youthful was caught trying to snatch mobile phones and money from the members of the public who were being addressed by the DP Ruto.
Irate members of the public roughed him up as some descended on him with blows and kicks before the police officers who were on crowd control rescued him.
An eyewitness who spoke to the press on condition of anonymity said that the Pickpocket fished something from a man's pocket and was caught up by hawk-eyed youths who beat him up before police intervened.
The latest development left many in surprise as some said the following;

Why are they trying to beat him, he's a hustler and he's just trying to make ends meet, respect his hustle ffs😒😂
Yesterday, DP Ruto toured Kajiado County where he vowed to set aside Sh100 billion to create employment opportunities.
