The last few weeks have not been the best for six officers from Embu who are accused of brutally killing two young men who were brothers from Kianjakoma. The two are said to have been killed by officers who were enforcing curfew.

The six are Corporal Benson Mbuthia, Corporal Consolata Kariuki, Constable Martin Wanyama, Constable Lilian Cherono, Constable Nicholus Sang, and Constable James Mwaniki.

The officers were arrested and charged yesterday for the murder of the two. DCI detectives have now revealed that the group was still in possession of the two phones belonging to the Murdered young men. Through this the detectives working on the case were able to put them at the murder scene.

Detectives have since collected the devices for further analysis as they look to bring a strong case against the rogue officers. The six will be detained for the next 14 days to give the detectives ample time to conclude the investigations.

Meanwhile share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
