Kenya power and Lighting Company, KPLC has announced that power will be interrupted in some parts of the Nairobi city county tommorow the 2nd Day of May 2021, this will be for network maintenance.
Areas that will be affected include, Korogocho slums, part of lucky summer estate, Dandora Dumpsite, Dandora phase One, two, and three, some parts of phase four. The adjacent areas of the estates mentioned will also be affected.
The interruption will last for the better part of the Sunday, it will begin from 9 A.M to 5 P.M, this is therefore to alert those residing in these areas to get prepared.
"Good afternoon to our customers. Tomorrow will see the listed areas affected by planned power interruptions. KPLC posted."The interruption is for network maintenance. For the advance notice, use to access the latest schedule, check under the most recent date." Added the giant power company.
Early this week the company suffered a breakdown in its system that made it difficult for customers to purchase tokens, tomorrow's maintenance could be part of that of last week that was not completed.
