Panic In Bomet As Shopkeeper Stabs His Neighbour To Death Over Ksh400 Debt

Panic has been witnessed in Sibaiyan village, Bomet county after a shopkeeper killed his neighbour.

Evans Mutai, 35 stabbed his neighbour Festus Keter on the right side of his chest who bled excessively which leads to his death.

This was after an argument reportedly occurred between the two, over Ksh 400 debt Mutai was owed by the deceased.

Reports further indicate that the culprit proceeded to run his shop unperturbed, after committing the shocking act.

The police arrived at the scene and arrest the suspect and expected them to be arraigned in court on Monday.

The body of the deceased was discovered by the residents who reported the matter to the Chesoen Police station.

Detectives also arrived at the scene and collected the samples including a blood-stained knife.

The body of the deceased was transferred to Longisa mortuary as it waits postmortem to ascertain the degree of the death.

This comes as the member of the public are urged to learn to solve their differences in an amicable way.
