Earlier today the direction of public prosecutions Nurdeen Hajj has withdrawn the case of Sarah Wairimu accused of killing his husband Tob Cohen . However Sarah once disclosed while in custody that the murder was done by people who are well known and are protected by a government body in Kenya . He added that his absentia of inheritance on the will was a plan as the will was not original .

The late tycoon's wife Sarah Wairimu Cohen and two other people were charged with this murder , and the DPP said that the matter will now be recorded as an inquest .
Former Philips Electronics East Africa CEO Cohen's body was discovered in a sewage tank at his residence in September 2019.
