Kieni Member of Parliament Hon Kanini Kega has received a huge embarrassment in Kiambu County where he had attended a burial service ceremony of Thika Township Member of Parliament Hon Wainaina's Mother.

The drama started when Kega warned that Kikuyu Political leaders tend to use funeral services to gain their political mileage, something that was perceived as a direct attack on Moses Kuria, Kimani Ichungwa, and other Tanga Tanga Members of Congress and MCAs.

Addressing residents of Kiambu, Kega said in a Kikuyu Dialect, "It's sad and unfortunate that some people in the Kikuyu community have now turned funeral services as a way of gaining their political gear. This one must be stopped by all means because this nation won't shed any blood."

Even before he finished his speech, Angry residents had started to shout," Mwambie Aketi Chini! Hatutaki Mambo Yake Sisi, Wacha Arundi kwao Nyeri (Tell Him to Seat Down! We don't want his things anymore, let him go back to Nyeri)".They also demanded that he should be sitting down, adding that Kiambu County Leaders aren't bad, as he thinks.

But Taking the Podium, Moses Kuria has corrected his fellow lawmaker, telling them that one must be careful with what he utters.
