A police officer gave a stranded new mother at the Kapsabet Referral Hospital hope in mankind by making a kind gesture.

Having carried casualties to the hospital for emergency care, Kenneth Kapelel, who also serves as the Kaimosi Police Station's driver, was among the police who accompanied the casualties.

The police officer saw a terrible situation of a woman and her baby and decided to help.

On the hospital floor, a mom was sitting with a newborn on her lap and little to no hope.

Kapelel approached the new mother and struck up a discussion out of compassion and worry.

Kapelel stepped up to the hospital cashier and paid the hospital bill for her discharge, before taking the woman to her home in Kipsugur village.

The officer's generous act again astounded the hospital staff. According to reports, the cop once paid a casual hospital visit and gave blood to a victim.

Do you think the police officer did the right decision?
