Juliet Ogweno was tearful as she narrated how she will now be the one footing the expenses of her two children and the same time offer parental love of father.
She could not hold her tears while recounting her journey with the late Ogweno who was murdered by Corporal Caroline Kagongo nearly three weeks ago in Nakuru.
"My husband left me with two kids; a boy and a girl. I am now supposed to to wear a shoe of father. Despite all I know God will give me the strength to take care of the kids," she said between tears.
The burial was also painful to Ogweno’s close family members with her father also seen shedding tears while eulogizing her son.
The emotional scenes brought to the fore the untimely demise of the police officer who was at the peak of his career, with a promotion on the way.
His burial happened a day before the day his Killer is scheduled for burial though as of Friday, a post-mortem examination had not been carried out.
