Police in Kisii County have launched manhunt for people who today morning set ablaze a section of house belonging to an assistant Chief in Bonyando sub location.
According to reports seen by the source, the today incidence occurred at around 10 am and the arsonists allegedly set the sitting room on fire.

According to police report, the Assistant Chief, identified as Duke Mokua was away in Mombasa with his family for the Christmas festivities when the incidence occurred.
A lot of properties was destroyed in that incident including the television estimated to approximately ksh 50,000.
The cause of the fire was not been revealed or the intentions of the arsonist. A police report however indicated that the house remained intact.
