The cruel hand of death has once again snatched a true, committed, shrewed and determined civil servant. This evening the country has lost Pauline Wanja Ngara who until her untimely demise was Assistance Commissioner General of prison. Her death was officially made public by the Wycliffe Ogallo who is commissioner General of prison.
Pauline Wanja Ngara died today while receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi where she was admitted for a week. He death has left a huge gap in Kenya prison that will not be easily filled.
Pauline Wanja Ngara was born in 1964 and joined police service in 1985 at the age of 21. After 13 months of training she emerged best in her class.
Pauline was eulogized as a dedicated person who gave her entire life to service Kenya prison service. She was a leading figure in struggle for betterment of the service. Her legacy at Kenya prison service will live forever. She was on of the service greatest.
