Although police officers according to the police act 2010 are supposed to provide services to the citizens such as safeguarding properties, protecting life and important persons in Kenya, it is not always the case as sometimes they are misused by their masters.
Angry scene was witnessed from a little known Thamanda estate, Kikuyu constituency, Kiambu county in the former Central province when a police officer identified as Lucy Muthoni was dismissed immediately from the duty after refusing to chase away cow from boss's home and taking kids to school.
Speaking to a local media station, the officer attached to Kiambu police station is appealing for help from the independent police oversight authority to save her job. "The duties that i was assigned overstepped my mandate." She said.
