The curfew ban has seen people report back to their old selves. As such, the silent nights are over and the ever busy Nairobi is back again. While people fall victim to police arrests, a drunkard managed to play his tricks for police officers yesternight.

According to the OB report at Kileleshwa Police Station, the officers arrested a drunk driver and decided to use his car on the travel towards the station. Fortunate for the suspect, his car switched itself off. He told the officers that his car had a cut out and he would fix it.

Unfortunately, the officers uncuffed the drunkard and alighted leaving a rifle and a phone in the car. The opportunistic drunkard sped off with their items. Additionally, the police officers failed to record the registration of the vehicle, making the man hunt more difficult. The police reached the control room for support to locate the car. However, the efforts of the police to sweep through Kaptei garden bore no fruits. The search for the suspect is ongoing.
