Tears as Two Bodies Alleged to Have Been Thrown Into The River by Police Officers Are Retrieved

Tears engulfed Ithanga residents in Gatanga Constituency in Murang'a county after the two bodies of 18-year-old men alleged to have been thrown into the river have been retrieved.

According to sources the two men have been missing for a week after they were alleged arrested by the area police officers for brewing illicit brews but they later went missing.

Many condemned the action where the residents are suspecting the police officers to have committed the heinous act because they were at the scene while the two men were being arrested by the police.

The two bodies identified as Nicholas Maithia and Asman Kamau were retrieved by Ithanga residents after being missing for a week and they have urged the police to investigate into the incident and bring the criminals to book.

The police were alarted and they arrived at the scene, collected the two bodies and they took them at a local mortuary awaiting for postmortem examination as the investigation continues.
