A thirty four year old man is has been arrested and now held by police officers after claimed to have been beaten his wife to death after finding her intoxicated at a Chang'aa den in Siaya county,Ugenya sub county,Jera village.The suspect whom has been identified as Kevin Onyango, reportedly returned home in the evening only to find his wife Emmaculate Mayavi missing.
The report indicate that Onyango later found his wife heavily intoxicated at a nearby Chang'aa drinking den upon which he started beating her with blows and kicks.Onyango then allegedly put his seriously injured wife on a wheelbarrow and pushed her home,where she died as a result of the injuries she obtained.
The suspect is currently being held at the Sihay Police station awaiting for the arraignment to face murder charges after thorough investigation done.The police commander Sihay Police station has revealed that the police officers are carrying out further investigation and more details will be disclosed soon.
