In a post on her twitter account on Thursday, Wambua expressed her sadness saying that Robert will forever be in her heart adding that it was the will of God and even at that, the veteran journalist died knowing that she, Catherine Wambua always had his back no matter the situation.
"My heart is broken into a million pieces. He was always our Roberto. Will forever be my Robs. My person has gone and I thank God he went knowing I've always had his back no matter what. Rest with angels baby, say hi to our dads. I'll see you there," Catherine Wambua Soi.
The renowned sports journalist Robert Soi died at the Nairobi Hospital, according to the family, he was admitted to the facility late last week after he was involved in an accident some time back which left him with head injuries.
Soi worked at KTN as a sports news presenter before moving to the China Global Television Network (CGTN).
Rest in peace Robert Soi.
