Eng John Mosonik had an engagement with Indekeki Sigiriet women group from Longisa ward in Bomet East Sub County whose source of livelihood is the supply of water to various premises, households and trading centers as well as ferrying agricultural produces to market places as far as Mulot and the neighbouring centers of Narok county by use of donkeys just to make a living out of it.
Eng Mosonik said they value the role and impact that mothers and women as a whole impart towards a stable family. He said their hursle can never be equated to that of a man, he said endeed they recognize and salute the women.
Mosonik said the group has grown and diversified that it has also started poultry keeping as well as running stable merry-go-round.He said the women deserve to be empowered for them to meet their targets and as part of his agenda he promised that his administration will work closely with them and such other groupings to ensure that their living standards are uplifted from their current status to act as an encouragement to others.
