Jack Ranguma and his wife Olivia, alongsise family members and friends are preparing for the burial their daughter Sonya Hawi Ranguma.
A fundraising for funeral expenses will be held on Saturday, October 02, 2021, before a Church service to celebrate her life is held at the AIC Church Milimani, Nairobi on October 06, 2021.
Thereafter, the funeral will take place on Friday, October 08, 2021 at her father's home in Chemelil, Kisumu County.
Sonya is sister of Tanya, Blanche and the late Eugene Wamalwa.
Jack Ranguma served as the first Kisumu County governor from 2013 to 2017, before he lost to former Senator Peter Anyang' Nyong'o during the 2017 gubernatorial elections.
He is reportedly eyeing a come back in 2022 in a bid to dislodge Nyong'o. Nyong'o is getting ready to vie for a second term.
