Kenyans React As IG Mutyambai's Son Is Freed After Being In An Accident That Killed 2 People

Kenyans have expressed their opinions and suggestions following the alleged release of the Son of the inspector General of police who has allegedly been freed on ksh. 20k bail after being involved in an accident that claimed the lives of 2 Boda-boda operators.

In an incident that happened a few days ago, it was reported that the son of Hillary Mutyambai whose name is yet to be disclosed was allegedly driving while drunk before the accident occurred killing two Boda-boda operators on the spot.

Reacting to this incident, traffic police boss Joshua Mukata claimed that they had already summoned the suspect who was later taken to the police station for more investigation and questioning moments after he allegedly presented himself to the police.

"We are currently investigating this incident. For now we can't give you unconfirmed answers because in as much as I would also like for justice to follow its course, we can't assume things. I want to assure you that justice will be served. Our officers have taken the necessary steps in order to find out what happened and whether or not he was drunk. We are working on it and will make sure that the suspect is charged", he said.

However, according to the latest reports on the incident, it has been revealed that Hillary Mutyambais son has been released. According to the reports given by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that the suspect was released today in the evening leaving lots of Kenyans with questions.

While reacting to this incident, kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions and suggestions on the matter have called upon director of criminal investigations along with the director of public prosecution, Noordin Hajji to take over this case claiming its biased.
