33-year-old police officer was on Sunday night found dead found dead in his house in Magarini Sub county.
The deceased identified as Azaria Godo was a key player at the National police service who displayed a good conduct while discharging his roles at the service.
His death comes only few months after a senior police officer attached to Mombasa police station also succumbed to Covid-19 disease two days after his wedding.
Before his death, police officer Azaria Godo was attached to Magarini sub-county Police Station.
Sources close to his family reported that he succumbed to kidney failure, an illness he had been battling for long.
His body body was transferred to Mailindi Sub-County hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and further burial arrangements.
Several colleagues alongside friends and relatives sent their messages of condolences to the bereaved family.
The Kenya Police service fraternity ask God to give the family solace and fortitude to bear the loss of their kin.
