A 39 year old man has hacked his mother using an axe. The scene is in Sub-County, Kisumu County.
Going by the reports, the man's names are Michael Odhiambo Olenyo. While the mother's names are Lucy Atieno.
According to DCI reports, Michael fled after hacking his mother's head using an axe. The incident occurred during a domestic argument at their home in Atinga Village.
Directives from directorate of Criminal Investigations have also confirmed, "Michael's mother died on the spot, due to pain and blood loss."
Her body has been moved Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, for autospy.
According to George Ochieng Ajuoga, area chief, he informed the DCI about the accident after receiving the reports from the deceased's neighbors.
Currently; police officers have launched their investigations to trace Michael and arrest him.
