According to onlookers Evans had an argument with the deceased over ksh 400 which he was owing him since he has a shop at Sabaiyan.
The altercation turned to worse and that's how it led to Evans stabbing the deceased and left him to die outside his shop but he did not manage to escape.
A concerned villager alarted the police officers based in Chesoen police station about the incident and they immediately rushed at the scene and conducted a preliminary investigations into the murder.
The murder weapon was also recovered at the scene. The suspect was arrested and taken to Chesoen police station waiting to be arraigned in court on Monday.
The body of the deceased was taken to Longisa hospital mortuary where it's awaiting postmortem examination.
