Mother Of Boy Who Was Killed In Girls' Secondary School After Sneaking In Speaks Out

Mary Mbage doubts that her son, Brian Mbage, died as a result of mob violence.

According to his mother, Mbage, a 17-year-old Gathiruini Boys' High School student, died after allegedly being beaten up for allegedly illegally entering a dormitory at Komothai Girls' High School in Githunguri, Kiambu County.

Mary Mbage suspects the boy who died on Wednesday night was not a result of mob injuries.

Wanjiku Mbage, Brian's aunt, accused the school of concealing the true cause of death. She claims she was told by the school's administration that the youngster leapt from the fourth story and "that's how he got his injuries."

Brian and five of his peers allegedly forced their way into the neighboring school on Wednesday night, causing the girls to raise the alarm.

The girls' shouts drew the attention of security officers, other students, and staff members, according to George Ng'ang'a Karanja, the manager of the security agency providing services to Komothai Girls' High School.

The event was under investigation, according to Githunguri Deputy OCPD George Kipkoros, and a team from the DCI was still at the crime scene taking statements from witnesses.
