Residents of Migori are still finding it hard to come to terms with an incident whereby a woman was found brutally murdered and her head chopped off by assailants.
Confirming the incident is the Suna East Sub-county Police Commander, Hesau Ochorokodi who said that deceased was discovered in a sack by passersby who informed the police.
According to the police report, the deceased had been chopped into pieces and her head was missing with her body packed in a sack naked. Analysis done on the deceased's body revealed that she might have been totured to death.
The police who arrived at the scene took the body to the Migori Hospital Morgue awaiting autopsy as police wait for her family members to claim ownership of the body.
Residents have since expressed their fear especially with the recent rise of mysterious death. They have since urged law enforcers to heighten security in the country to cub such incidents from happening.
