Embu County:Drama As A Witchdoctor Allegedly Helps The Police To Catch Two Cattle Thieves

Drama as ‘bees’ arrest 2 suspected cow thieves in <a class=Embu"/>

Two accused robbers were assaulted by a swarm of bees before turning themselves in; shocking the residents of Makutano in Embu county.

According to reports, the event began when Lilian Waithera; the cow's owner reported the situation to the police station and asked for a witch doctor's assistance to reclaim the livestock.

Only a few days after a ritual, two young guys appeared with the cow that had been taken and that the owner had positively recognized.

The cow was in the grip of one of the goons; who had been assaulted by a swarm of bees on his hands.

"I went to the police station when my cow was taken, but I afterwards visited a witch doctor. He handed me the medication I had previously used in the cowshed and instructed me to wait. He has now assisted me,'' the woman remarked.

After they had recovered, the medicine man gave them some herbs and the bees vanished. The owner claims she would not file any theft-related charges against the two so they were transferred to the Makutano police station to await the next step.
