Caroline Kangogo was laid to rest today at her parent’s home in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County. This came after many days of anxiety following the wait by the government pathologist Johansen Oduor to conduct post mortem on her body.
At some juncture, her dad who was devastated and disappointed following what had happened burst into tears on camera as he conveyed his resentment and irritation.
Later detectives did a postmortem before permitting them to bury her. That finally happened today with the family members and friends attending the funeral. The police officers snubbed the whole event.
It is a norm in the police force that when one of their colleagues perishes, they give that cop a courteous send-off. That never happened for Caroline because she allegedly took her own life after committing murders.
Her husband Richard Ngeno who has been maintaining a low profile since the wife did the horrible crime attended her burial and concealed his feelings behind the specks that he wore and sat next to his children.
He was allowed to talk to the mourners but he reasonably declined the offer. These allegedly disappointed people who expected him to talk about what he thinks of his late wife.
