Latest Updates From Kinoo Storey Building As Contractor Identified

A 5-storey-building under construction collapses and leans on an adjacent building in Regen near Kinoo, Kiambu county.

Occupants of Crestwood Apartments, the adjacent building are reported to be vacating the area after the building developed cracks that are of concern and maybe considered hazardous.Police are at the scene to control the situation.

Kiambu County has been on the spot recently over similar incidents.

In October last year, a nine-storey building in Ruiru that was under construction collapsed. No casualties were reported as no one was inside at the time the building went down.

The occurrence passed lower than a month after a five-story structure situated close to White House in Kinoo fell. The construction was approaching consummation.

In August of a similar time, a five-story structure fell in Gachie.

The design had been raised up to the fifth base and sloggers were chipping away at the 6th base when the misfortune struck.

The occurrences have started a discussion on the nature of designs coming up in various passageway of the country as the interest for homegrown constructions keeps on rising.

Various of the developments spots warrant appropriate oversight with financial backers going for inexpensively inferior quality material.

In the previous occurrence in Kinoo, the Institution of Masterminds of Kenya (IEK) President Mastermind Nathaniel Matalanga credited the breakdown to a frail establishment.
