Who joined the family, friends and relatives during the funeral ceremony of the late Daniel Kithunka Rukunga at Kithiiri, Nkomo Ward in Tigania West, who until his demise, was the Deputy Director at NLC head office in Nairobi.

DG Ntuchiu mourned late Rukunga who was a cousin to the Managing Director of Meru County Revenue Board, Dr. John Ntoiti, as his personal long time friend.

During the burial, the DG also put a request to NLC to consider elevating another son or daughter of Meru to a position equal to the one late Rukunga held or even higher, as an honor for the lengthy service he provided to the Ministry and the country, and so that the people of Meru continue to enjoy efficient services.
