The country is currently on free motion after president Uhuru Kenyatta has uplifted Covid 19 contentment measures. This came on 1st May during Uhuru's speech on Labour day. He opened the red zoned counties, bars, restaurants and uplifted curfew time from 10pm to 4am in all the counties. Schools are also yet to be opened.
The president made the changes according to the reduced Covid cases in the country. However Kenyans should expect the worse if something is not done on the following;
The government should look for away to get the vaccines that will be available for all Kenyans. Just as the Covax Suppliers earlier announced today that they won't be able to avail the 2nd dose of the vaccine Kenyan government requested, the government should find another alternative for the same.
Schools are also yet to open, however some schools lack enough classrooms that will provide good social distancing to the the many population of students in some schools. This might put some of the students at risk of being infected by the virus.
Therefore Kenyans to be careful during this time to avoid the country being locked again due to increase number of covid-19 positive cases.
