Panic as Kazi Mtaani Worker is Brutally Murdered, Body Dumped in Kajiado Thicket

Police in Ongata Rongai have launched investigations after a 28 year old woman was found murdered and her body dumped in a thicket.

The woman identified as Joan Gloria Rumbale, a Kazi Mtaani worker had gone missing a week ago.

Her lifeless body was discovered covered with rocks by a herder in Kimani road, Kajiado county.

"Ms. Joan Gloria Rumbale, a casual labourer at the area's Kazi Mtaani, had in the morning of Thursday, March 11 left her home for work, never to return. After a day of no communication and fruitless search for her, her sister informed the police of her disappearance on Saturday 13, where a report of a missing person was circulated and probing into her case initiated," read the post.

Her body identified by her sister had multiple injuries. Alarm

The body was picked and the scene of the crime was processed.

 Detectives are hoping to catch the perpetrators of the brutal murder.

"Born at Shanderema village in Kakamega's Mumias East sub-county, the deceased had joined her sister in Ongata Rongai where the two shared a neighborhood. As the body awaits autopsy, detectives are capitalizing on potential leads to the perpetrator(s)," read the post further
