The family of masten wanjala has declined to bury there kin fearing it will attract curses upon them.The self confessed serial killer was lynched by angry residents.
Previously his father Robert wanjala watila had pleaded with the state to give him the body to Bury. He had also asked for forgiveness from the grieved families on behalf of his son.
Masten who was arrested on July 2021 and remanded at jogoo Road police station escaped a few months later spiked alot of arguments from kenyans.This showed loopholes on the kenyan criminal justice system.
During the post mortem excise,which was conducted in Bungoma masten wanjalas family claimed not to be involved.
Masten led detectives to scenes where he had dumped his victims who were minors.
Masten was discovered missing on October 2021 by police officers manning the jogoo Road police station .This happed during the usual morning roll calls of suspects who being detained to be later arraigned in court .
