What Matatu Operators Are Fond Of Doing In Nairobi That Has Irritated Kenyans

Matatus aka "nganya" are vehicles that transports people and services in the cosmopolitan city of Nairobi. These vehicles provide cheaper and affordable transportation services to Nairobi dwellers. They therefore charge pocket friendly fare.

"Nganyas" in Nairobi are preferred by many people. However, the new trend by some of the "nganya" drivers seems to be sending away there esteemed customers. The new move by the "nganya" operators in Nairobi involves playing loud music and making alot of noise.

Besides making too much noise on the road, report by Ma3Route today shows that the "nganya" operators are also arrogant while picking and alighting passengers. One of the "nganyas" that has been identified to be making too much noise on the road had a number plate of registration number KDH 243W. This vehicle is said to ply the Nairobi CBD-Kiambu route. Too much noise is dangerous to humans as it can cause temporary or permanent deafness.

Concerned people are now requesting relevant authorities led by the NTSA, traffic police and DCI to help in regulating the new move by "nganya" operators.
