Finally The Doctors Reveal That Paul Gicheru Never Died Of Food Poisoning But This Is What Killed

Many Kenyans don't know what happened to attorney Paul Gicheru, who was a prime suspect at the International Criminal Court. After finishing his lunch, the lawyer was found dead in his Karen home. Medical examiners from the Lee Funeral Home conducted a postmortem examination, and their findings contradict earlier speculation that the attorney had died of food poisoning.

The Saturday Standard reports that sources close to the Lee Funeral Home say the lawyer died of a heart attack, not food poisoning. Official government pathologists performed the autopsy to determine the cause of death and whether or not foul play was involved. The government went ahead with the drill despite opposition from members of the public and other authorities.

At the same time, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is finishing up its own probes to ensure the validity of the findings. His family and DCI investigators were present for the autopsy. In the Hague case, Gicheru is being held accountable for allegedly threatening and bribing witnesses who testified against president William Ruto. Regarding the lawyer's death, the ICC has yet to issue a report. Those who choose to follow the page will receive daily news updates.
