A shameful scene was witnessed in Nyagancha village in Nyamira county after a 64-year-old grandmother was caught in bed having sex' with a 12-year-old boy who happens to be her close relative.
Appearing before Collins Ombija, the chief Magistrate at Keroka law courts, the elderly woman pleaded guilty to forcefully engaging in the act with her 12-year-old grandson who was only in class six.
The old woman whose husband died several years ago seemed to have missed it and on 5th March 2022 went ahead to invite the boy to her bedroom, it is when she took off the boy's clothes and told him to keep silent, she then took the boy's thing and inserted in her's making her feel what she longed for, something which is against the law.
The session did not however go well with her as other relatives stormed the house unexpectedly and caught the old woman taking advantage of the young boy's innocence, the matter was reported to the police station and the old woman was arrested two days after the incident took place.
Four witnesses have been lined up by the court to testify that the act took place and others could even show up if there is need, the case will be heard on 23rd March 2022.
