Embakasi East Member of Parliament was unlucky after Kenyans castigated him when he posted a condolence message over the death of DJ Evolve's mother. The MP was accused in January 2020 for being involved in the shooting of the young DJ.
It caused an uproar as Kenyans demanded for arrest and dismissal of the legislator. Babu Owino requested the court to have an out of court settlement of the victim's case.
The DJ has been recuperating while Babu Owino took care of the bills. On Wednesday, we received sad news that the DJ's mother lost her life. Reports indicate that the mother has been well but she developed breathing problems and was pronounced dead when she was rushed to the hospital.
Babu Owino like many Kenyans was shocked with the news. He wrote on his Facebook wall a condolence message while recalling how great the mother was. This message didn't go well with some Kenyans who accused him for causing the family agony.
He further said they would ensure to uphold her legacy ane empathized with Evolve. " Mum you always told us to be strong no matter how big the storm is and to always put God first," he ended. Kenyans thronged the comment section while accusing the MP for causing suffering to the family.
