Dramatic event has been recorded in Bomet County after a a man allegedly saved a new born baby who was dumped in a school Latrine Without knowing that this was his real biological son.
According to news that have since gone viral across social media, Police in Bomet County, Embomos ward have Arresred a 25 Years old woman who allegedly threw her baby into a pit latrine.
According to the police, the woman did the act a day after delivering where she put the infant to a latrine belonging to Komirmir primary school.
The woman, who lives in Komirmir Village, was arrested today, 15th April, 2021, and is being held by the police before she is arraigned in court tomorrow 16th.
Further details emerged indicating that the man, Mr David Bett, who sacrificed to go down the Latrin to save the baby was the biological father to the infant. However, he was not aware that this was his son, as he was born and named "Emanuel". He is yet to record statement with the police.
The baby has since been transfered from Cheptalal level 4 hospital to Longisa Referral Hospital for treatment.
