Standstill in Eldoret as Bodaboda Riders Flock Fuel Station to Receive 'Bottom-up' Donation (VIDEO)

Bodaboda Riders have flocked a fuelling station in Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu County to receive a fuel donated by Deputy President William Ruto's ally Oscar Sudi during his tour of the region.

According to the information shared by Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi, the move to promote the Bodaboda operators is an attempt to test DP Ruto's economic Development model dubbed Bottom-up approach.

The 'Bottom-up economic Development model' preached by DP Ruto and his allies aims to promote the small scale businesses as it promises the distribution of resources beginning from the bottom to the top. Ruto has maintained that he will ensure that he also create more job opportunities to save the youth from the unemployment crisis.

From the video seen by this writer, the high number of Bodaboda operators has brought other business at the fuelling station to a standstill as they scramble to receive "hard to come-by free gift".

This comes as Ruto continues with his tour across Kisii County after arriving in the area today morning. The DP has already made several stopovers to address the area residents.
