CS Balala Says Kenya Has Used 2 Billion to Compensate on Snake Bites Alone

CS tourism Najib Balala speaking in Baringo today has said that the country has used 2 billion to pay only on snake bites across the country. It's clear most people have already been bitten by snakes and others lost their lives.

Snake bites has been a thorn in the flesh across several counties especially Baringo and Lamu counties. CS has confirmed that his ministry requires about 3.2 billion to deal with compensation of all forms including snakes.The CS today will be giving 29 million in terms of compensation to people who have faced bites from snakes.

It's clear most people have spent vast resources fighting snakes bites in hospitals for its clear the government initially didn't come in. However fortunately currently the government has come in to address the crisis.

CS Balala has vowed to fight hard for the people who have experienced snake bites as truly that's something of concern. He also confirmed that the government will improve to ensure snakes hide outs are clearly looked into to reduce the high cases of people being bitten by snakes.
