Farmers grow different crops such as wheat, rice, yams, cabbage and many others. They normally depend rainful as different crops need different amount of water. Irrigation is very expensive as it requires alot of money to start. Also managing and maintaining water pump generators can be expensive as it requires petrol. Further more drought also can causes alot of plants to dry resulting to many losses. Knowing weather is very important because it makes farmers to prepare their seedbeds early for planting. Early planting is also encouraged because it increases production and also control some weeds that may cause diseases to some specific crops. Some countries will probably experience rainfall from this week up next month. Those countries include, Nakuru, Kericho, Kiambu and Kisumu. Look some screenshots from these counties; The rain will extend to April this year in some countries. Farmers are encouraged to buy certified seeds and fertilizer as the rainy seasons begins.
