What All Motorbike Riders Need To Know, As Government Reveals New Directives

The government of Kenya has given boda administrators 90 days to guarantee that they are completely enlisted with the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and gave with driving licenses.

Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho on Monday said that the public authority has banded together with the National Youth Service and NTSA to lead free bike riding classes and issue driving licenses.

Talking in Nairobi at a conference facilitated by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) in organization with the Boda Safety Association of Kenya, the PS expressed that after the three months, the public authority will start a crackdown on the individuals who won't have gone along.

Kibicho further noticed that there are presently over 2.5 million enrolled cruisers in the country, 1.4 million of which are working as boda bodas.

Those who will fail to comply with the directive might land in court to answer the crime they might have committed. However, all road users are encouraged to be careful while on roads.
