Kenya has found itself at the center of a diplomatic crisis after it was accused of secretly arresting a Nigerian Politician who is wanted for leading a group declared as a banned Militia group by the federal Government of Nigeria.Nnamdi Kanu grabbed international news on Tuesday,June 29 after he was presented at Nigeria court four years after he fled the country, Athourities in the western African country initially claimed that Kanu was arrested and etradited from the United Kingdom where he also has a citizenship status.However the UK government denied having anything to do with the arrest of man who leads an outlawed group that calls for the indipendence of Biafra from Nigerian,Kanu's brother Kingsley has now alleged that the Nigerian was headed to his Kenyan home in kileleshwa, Nairobi where he was stopped for questioning by the Officials at JKIA.
We will hold Kenya and Nigeria government responsible for whatever may happened to my brother,We don't Know why they did this to him it is an incident of extraordinary rendition Kingsley stated.
Foreign Affairs Ps Kamau Macharia stated that there was no evidence to prove that Kanu was in the country.
Nnamdi Kanu has been intercepted,He has been brought back to Nigeria inoder to continue facing trial after disappearing Justice Minister Abubakar Malam said.
