
Reports of a town in Kirinyaga county that has been badly exposed emerged online eliciting mixed reactions among Kenyans.
According to reports, Sagana town is a small and old town in Kirinyaga, it is located along the Nairobi-Nyeri highway. It is small though highly populated by both locals and tourists.
historians believe that it was established in the 1930s and named after the longest Kenyan river, River Sagana. Sources indicated that it is a small " entertainment hell".

Reports indicated that Sagana town is a small central business place and full of bars and entertainment joints. The town has been on the spot for having moral decaying values.
Many entertainment joints are said to be employing underage girls who end up being used by men. Some of the girls also use their bodies to earn money after sleeping with men.
Sources indicated that complaints about the morals of the town have been filed to Interior PS Kanja Kibicho and some to Kirinyaga county government but nothing has been done.
