Angry scene was witnessed from Magutu estate Mathira constituency, Nyeri county in the former Central province when a man aged twenty five years identified as Samuel Maina was murdered by a neighbour for playing loud music during a family gathering ceremony.
According to a local or rather resident who sought anonymity for security reasons, the suspect ,22, a drug addict who spend most of the time moving from one alcohol bar to another entered in to the neighbours house where the visitors had gathered with a machete and started injuring them badly.
Conferming the incident, the area senior chief disclosed that the criminal was arrested by police officers who responded to a phone call from the village head man and is locked in cell at Karatina police station waiting to be taken to court once the investigation is concluded.
