Following investigations, police officers managed to recover a stolen motor vehicle and assorted goods worthy of millions of money in Nyeri.
According to the source, the operation began immediately after one vehicle model Toyota Succeed was stolen yesterday from a businessman in the Murkeini sub-county. The owner reported the matter to Kieni East police station which promoted an immediate search.
Reports indicated that with the help of a tracking device installed into the vehicle, police officers made a minor breakthrough after recovering the items at the Chaka market in one building that was being used as a stole for the stolen item.
The police officer leading the operation Mr. Sicharani said that the vehicle was recovered few hours after being stolen although several parts had been already removed.
He also added that household items, music instruments, and electronics were also recovered. Two suspects were arrested and taken to the police station as more investigation is ongoing.
