Mr Victor Kiprono Ngeno, a suspect who has been possing himself as a 'Magistrate’ has been arrested. According to Mr. Anthony Sunguti, the Nakuru DCI head, the suspect has been on a police search for one year and is accused of luring many people by possing himself as a 'Magistrate' yet he is not.
A magistrate is a court official responsible for administering or enforcing laws and usually deals with minor offences.
To prove that, the DCI officer's recovered several 'fake' employment letter's from Judicial Service Commission (JSC) from the suspect.
According to Sunguti, the Suspect has for several times acted as Magistrate and many victim's have fallen into his dragnet ie. One victim lost Ksh. 100,000 to the said suspect who possed himself as a Magistrate and promised to expedite a civil case he had logged in Nakuru Court, another victim lost 1.6 Million to the suspect who possed himself as Devolution CS Charles Keters brother and pretended to be in a position to secure employment for his 2 children in the Kenya Pipeline Company.
The suspect was nubbed while on a hiding spree and he will be taken to court next week as investigations continues.
Kenyan's are always urged to be more careful in all whatever they do since there are many scammers here outside.
